JOB OPPORTUNITY Finance Officer/City Administrator for City of Groton. Pop 1458.  Application and Job Description available at city website.   Responsible for overseeing all accounting duties and human resources of the city, able to address citizen complaints, as well as keeping the Mayor and City Council informed on all pertinent matters. Must have Bachelor’s degree in Public or Business Administration or Accounting or related field, or 5 yr experience as a municipal finance officer.  Must be self motivated, strong communication skills, and familiar with Governmental Accounting Standards & Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Will only be on Railroad Ave,
Main St, 6th St, & Hwy 37

Residents of Cottonwood Trailer Park need to take their garbage to Highway 37.
Residents north of 13th Avenue (Olson and Jacobson Development) need to bring their garbage to the Bus Barns.

Please bring your garbage bags & cans to these streets for Tuesday pickup

Groton City Wide Rummage will be Saturday, May 6th from 8am to 3pm. Listing must be received by 8PM on Friday, April 28th.  Complete listings will be available online and in stores on the afternoon of Monday, May 1st.  All listings must be emailed to michelle@dakotariskmanagement or dropped off at Dakota Risk by the 4/28 to be included. 

The City Public Works Dept is currently inspecting Load Management in residences and businesses. Please contact Shawn at 397-7462 to set up an appointment.
